Description: |
Rhizome erect, c. 4 mm diameter; scales dark brown, awl-shaped, up to 3 mm long, margins entire. Fronds tufted, arching, thinly coriaceous. Stipe up to 15 cm, black, sparsely set with brown scales c. 2 mm long. Lamina up to 12 × 7 cm, deeply 2-pinnatifid, oblong-acute in outline, basal pinnae slightly reduced. Pinnae up to 5 × 1.5 cm, elongate-trapeziform in outline, glabrous on both sides, deeply pinnatifid into narrowly oblong lobes with irregularly toothed apices. Rhachis black, with narrow greenish wings in the upper part, glabrous except for a few scales similar to those on the stipe. Sori up to 1 cm long, linear, indusium entire. |
