Description: |
Perennial herb, 20-45 cm high, growing from a corm 15-20 mm in diameter. Foliage leaves 3-4, lanceolate to nearly linear, 4-14 mm wide, plicate to weakly folded, lowermost basal and reaching up to the base of the inflorescence. Flowering stem usually 3-4-branched, rarely simple. Main flowering spike 20-flowered or more. Flowers cream to greenish, reddish or purple. Tepals more or less linear-spathulate; upper tepal longest, 10-12 mm long. Filaments c. 10 mm long; style reaching to about the middle of the anthers. Capsule 3-4 mm long. |
