Description: |
Scrambling shrub with stiff, straight branches climbing up to 8 m high. Leaves simple, often more or less 3-whorled, narrowly ovate-elliptic, 2.3-6.5 cm long, thinly leathery, hairless, glossy bright green above; petiole 8-10 mm long. Inforescences terminal and axillary, densely corymbose, hairless. Calyx with a tube 2-3 mm long and 5-6 very short triangular teeth, hairless. Corolla white inside, pinkish-brown ourtside; tube 14-23 mm long; lobes 6-9, elliptic, 7-10 mm long. fruit 1-2-lobed with lobes elliptic, c. 1 cm long when dry. |
