Description: |
Closely related to Garcinia huillensis; it differs in the following characters: Plant a rhizomatous shrublet (tree or shrub in huillensis), 15 - 30 cm tall. Leaves often subopposite (always opposite in huillensis), usually narrowly oblanceolate or narrowly elliptic (oblong or elliptic in huillensis) and with the apex acute or rounded (often acuminate in huillensis). |
