Description:
Stemless perennial herb, up to 15 cm high growing from a thickened woody rootstock. Leaves in 1–4 rosettes, up to 13 cm long with a hairy rhachis; leaflets in 4–17 pairs, obliquely subcircular to obovate, 2·5–11 mm long, hairless, with 3–7 pairs of prominent lateral veins; margin ciliate. Flowers yellow, orange or reddish, in 3–6-flowered pseudumbels on a hairy peduncle 5–15 cm long; pedicels up to 4 mm long. Sepals linear-lanceolate, 5–6 mm long, 5–7-veined, pubescent. Petals 6–9 mm. long, hairless. Capsule obovoid-ellipsoid, 3 mm long, hairless.
