Notes: DRC: A common tree in the river forests throughout our region. It is widely used for logging, because the trees are pretty straight and relatively thick, very suitable for sawing boards. The furniture makers also like it because the wood is easy to handle. The wood of this tree is also widely used for roof construction. Not wise because it is not resistant to termites and wood worms.
